Vote at your polling station
What you need to bring, opening hours and if you need help to vote.
To vote in person, you must:
- bring photo ID to confirm your identity
- vote at your nominated polling station
- be eligible to vote in the election
Your poll card also tells you the location of your polling station and the election date. This will be posted to you a few weeks election day.
If you do not get a poll card, check that you’re registered to vote.
Polling station opening hours
Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm on election day.
If there is a queue at your polling station, you will still be able to vote as long as you joined the queue before 10pm.
If you need help to vote
The voting process should be accessible to all voters.
All our polling stations are accessible and offer a range of support to help you vote independently or with assistance.
