Neighbours are given 21 days to comment on the application. Comments may still be accepted after 21 days if the application is still under consideration.

Plans, drawings and material submitted to the council are protected by the Copyright Acts (Section 47, 1988 Act). You may only use material that is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. We consider all valid comments when we make a decision on a planning application. Any comments that are offensive or abusive are ignored.
To find out the outcome of an application, you can check the planning register after the decision has been made on the application.
