Rethink Waste is a waste reduction scheme from the Surrey Environment Partnership. By taking part, you can treat yourself to rewards, earn prizes and donate to good causes while making Surrey a greener place to live.

If you regularly produce garden waste, you can sign up to have it removed. You can also recycle garden waste into compost for your garden.

Reusing unwanted items

If you have furniture that is in a reusable condition, you can arrange a collection from Woking Community Furniture or Furniturelink Surrey.

You can get more use out of your old clothes and home textiles with clothes-swapping parties, repairing items and sewing courses.

Recycling waste

If you have waste that cannot be put in your rubbish bin, or items to recycle that cannot be put in your recycling bin, you can take them to a local tip or recycling bank.

You can also arrange for bulky waste items to be collected for disposal.

Cloth nappies (also known as real or reusable nappies) can be recycled.
