Once you have registered to vote, your details will be stored in the full register.
The electoral register lists the names and addresses of Woking borough residents who are registered to vote. This is used for:
The open register is an extract of the full electoral register. It excludes the names and addresses of residents who have opted out of the open register.
It is available for sale to any person or organisation for any purpose.
If you want to remove your details from the open register, or have your details added back onto the open register, use our online form.
You're able to view the electoral register under our supervision at the Civic Offices. To do so, you must contact us to make an appointment.

By law, we can only provide the current year's register for inspection. Once a new register is published, the previous versions are no longer available for public inspection.
Names on the electoral register are listed by polling district and by street name, not in alphabetical order. It is not possible to search the register electronically.
You are not allowed to take a copy or a photograph of the full register, but you may make handwritten notes.
