How we collect money from developers during the planning application process to pay for infrastructure projects, including Section 106 contributions and the Community Infrastructure Levy.
We use the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) as our main way of securing developer contributions towards infrastructure projects in the borough. Most developments of one new dwelling or more, purpose built student accommodation and some retail, will usually be liable for CIL.
For more information on the CIL, go to Community Infrastructure Levy – Woking 2027.
