Street naming and numbering
Register a new address, rename or renumber a street, apply for a property name, report a damaged or missing street name sign.
Apply for a property name
You can apply to name or rename an existing property.
If it is located in a street where all properties are numbered, you will have to continue to:
- use the property’s number in front of the street name within your postal address
- display the property’s number in addition to the approved name on the exterior of your property
If renumbering is required, we will allocate a number which fits within the street.

You will be asked to include 3 different property names as part of your application.
