You can apply to make a minor variation to your premises licence. This is a change that will not negatively impact on any of the 4 licensing objectives.
Example of a minor variation
Minor variations include:
- small changes to the structure or layout of a premises
- authorisation for late night refreshment or regulated entertainment – such as performance of plays or film exhibitions
- small changes to licensing hours – but not changes relating to the sale or supply of alcohol
- revisions, removals and additions of conditions – this could include the removal or amendment of out of date, irrelevant or unenforceable conditions, or the addition of volunteered conditions

Advertising your application
You must advertise your application by displaying a notice on the premises for 10 working days, beginning the day after the application is made.
This should be on white paper and placed in a position where it can be seen by people without them having to enter the premises.
