How to apply for a pavement licence
How to apply for a licence, including application fees and the evidence you need to submit.
Before you apply, read the licensing conditions.
Documents you need to apply
Please submit a:
- copy or photo of your public liability insurance of £5 million or above
- detailed drawing with measurements of your pavement layout plan, including furniture, access points and neighbouring properties
We will not accept applications without this information.
Application fees
The pavement licence fee is:
- £500 to apply for a new licence
- £350 to renew a licence
