The rules around using your car park permit or season ticket in one of our car parks.
A permit is provided for your use only which is valid only for the Leisure Centre undercover car park in Woking Park.
Should you park in any of the open air car parks you may be issued with a penalty charge notice. As a parking space cannot be guaranteed, in the event the car park is full, please contact 07836 254654 and you will be directed to the next available car park.
When parking, you must display your permit in the windscreen of your car so that it is clearly visible and readable. If you do not, you are required to purchase a Pay and Display ticket from a car park ticket machine, or pay by debit/credit card using the RingGo automated telephone payment system; no refund of any such charges incurred will be made. Failure to do either may result in the issue of a penalty charge notice.
In the event that you have temporary use of another car whilst yours is being serviced/repaired etc., transfer the permit to the temporary car - remembering to return it to your own car when you get it back.
Please note:
Companies with multiple permits must maintain records and notify the council of individual holders to whom the permits are issued and their vehicle details.
Any change in driver or vehicle details must be notified to the council in writing or by email for which there will be a charge of £25. A change of vehicle to one with a higher Co2 element putting it in to a higher charge band, will incur a further charge; if the Co2 figure is lower, resulting in a lower charge band, an appropriate refund will be given.
If the permit is cancelled for any reason, any refund due will be given pro-rata the cost of the permit for the number of complete months remaining, less a £25 administration fee, providing the permit is surrendered first.
Permits remain the property of Woking Borough Council and must be returned; when no longer required, otherwise a cost will be incurred. They are issued subject to the Council’s order(s) relating to car parks in force at the time and the Council reserves the right to vary such orders during the period of the subscription.
Cars are parked at the owner’s and driver’s risk and the council accepts no liability for loss or damage to any vehicle or part thereof, nor will it accept liability for the death of or injury to any person(s) arising out of the use of the car park, save insofar as such death or injury is caused by the negligence of the Authority, its servants or agents.
