Car park access for Blue Badge holders – conditions of use
We offer Blue Badge holders free parking in Woking town centre car parks.
This right (concession) is offered to valid Blue Badge holders who have applied to us for a car park exit sticker and your application has been accepted.
You are not automatically given free parking by displaying your Blue Badge.

Parking without a Blue Badge exit sticker
If you have applied for and not yet received you exit sticker, you are required to pay for parking at the daily or hourly rate advertised and charged. The same payment terms apply if you have forgotten your Blue Badge and/or exit sticker.
No refunds will be provided.
Who can use the Blue Badge exit sticker
The Blue Badge holder must be the driver or a passenger in the vehicle.
It is an offence for the Blue Badge proximity card and/or exit sticker to be used without the holder being present. If this concession is misused, we will stop cancel your exit sticker and we may inform the Blue Badge authority – Surrey County Council.
Where you can and cannot park in the car parks
If you have a Blue Badge exit sticker, you:
- must park in bays marked ‘Blue Badge Holder’ only
- display your blue badge in your vehicle’s windscreen
- must park within the car park bay’s markings
- cannot park on any yellow lines, hatchings lines or in any driving lane
- must not leave their vehicle in a way that can cause obstructions to other car park users
- can park for 24 hours a day unless it is revoked for any reason, it is no longer required, or your entitlement ceases
- are not guaranteed parking, any specific parking space or access to a ‘Blue Badge Holder’ only parking bay
If you do not follow our car park terms and conditions or car park regulations, you may receive a Penalty Charge Notice.
How to use the Blue Badge exit sticker in the car parks
- the exit sticker must be applied (stuck) to your Blue Badge
- when leaving the car park, you must scan the exit sticker at the exit barrier machine
Blue Badge changes and renewals
If you make any changes to your Blue Badge – Surrey County Council, you must inform us.
For example, you change your name. By not telling us, your right to free parking may be removed.
You must reapply for a new exit sticker when you renew your Blue Badge with Surrey County Council.
The exit sticker is valid for the duration of the blue badge. It will no longer be valid after the expiry date recorded on your Blue Badge.
Lost, stolen or damaged blue badges exit stickers
If you lose your Blue Badge and/or exit sticker, you must inform our Parking Services Team.
We will cancel the lost exit sticker and provide you with a new one.
If your Blue Badge and/or exit sticker are stolen, you must report the theft to the police and obtain a crime reference number. You will not be able to receive free parking until a new sticker has been issued.
Do not attempt to remove the exit sticker from your Blue Badge, this will damage the sticker. If believe your exit sticker has been deliberately damaged or tampered with, we will cancel your right to free parking. No replacement access sticker will be provided until you apply to renew your Blue Badge - after its current expiry date.
Other Blue Badge exit sticker terms and conditions
- we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove free parking for Blue Badge holders at any time
- we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to withdraw free access at any time, or immediately for any fraudulent use or misuse of the system
- exit stickers are issued subject to our authority’s current order(s) relating to car parks. We reserve the right to vary such orders during the subscription period
- vehicles are parked at the owner’s/driver’s risk. We accept no liability for loss or damage to any vehicle or part thereof
- we accept no liability for the death of or injury to any person(s) arising out of the use of the car park, save insofar as such death or injury is caused by the negligence of the authority, its servants or agents
- your exit sticker remains our property. If for any reason you do not renew your Blue Badge or your right to it is removed, the exit sticker will be cancelled
